The previous link provides some crucial data analysis such as:
Core Politicians | 1 % (Or Less) |
Voters | 47 % |
Non Voters | 53 % |
The system of democracy always revolves around the majority. Given that only 47% People are voting, and 53% not voting, we have a problem here. The problem is the dependency of the political parties towards the voting population. Election is a race which is tight competition. The candidates have to win. The winning is based only on the votes polled.
The votes not polled will not be considered at all. This is what makes the political parties to lean towards the voting population. Eventually the voting sector is from innocent, rural and poor people. To woo the vote from these section political parties strategies with free bee schemes and play the game of vote bank politics. Some political parties even go further to pay money to purchase votes.
Now who is responsible?
53% Do not vote ???
47% Wrongly Vote ???
A fractional percentage of core politicians???
If 53% of the non voters properly vote, they can over come 47% of wrongly voting.
If 47% is not the deciding criteria, political parties will not rely on free bee or cash for vote strategies.
It will force the political parties to come out with development plans rather than free bee plans.
The power is with the 53% people, and it is unused now !!!!
Anything that is unused will eventually be misused. Use your power wisely.
